Dental crowns are tooth-shaped caps used to restore the size, strength, function, and appearance of a damaged tooth. Generally, dental crowns are suggested by our dentist to repair teeth that have lost a significant amount of natural tooth structure or have experienced severe decay or damage. We work hard to make sure that each dental crown we make looks beautiful, fits comfortably in your smile, and functions just like a natural tooth.

It takes only two visits with Dr. Blake Lawlor to design and create your dental crown. During your initial appointment, we gently reshape the tooth and take molds of your smile. This information is used by our favored dental laboratory to create your dental crown. During your second visit, the dental crown, which is sent back to our office, is temporarily put in place to make sure it fits properly. Once any final adjustments have been made, the dental crown is permanently cemented in place.

Along with repairing smiles, dental crowns are also used to make dental bridges and to complete dental implant treatments. To see if a dental crown in Wichita, Kansas, is right for your smile, please contact our dental team today. We are grateful for the opportunity to take care of your oral health.
